2016 Nissan Murano Release Date, Price, Review, Specs – The new and improved 2016 Nissan Murano comes with comfortable seats, impressive fuel economy ratings, spacious interior, upscale technology, and nice balance of power. The vehicle has been impressive ever since its debut twelve years ago and by the looks of things, the new Murano for 2016 will continue to be a darling for many once it debuts. Its release date is expected sometime before this fall.
Being among the first crossovers to debut at the time, the vehicle had an easy time appeasing most of the new buyers who wanted a combination of power and handling characteristics, stylish looks, and a spacious seating arrangement for up to five passengers.
However, dozens of other crossovers have debuted since and most of the automakers now have their own model. Sadly, though, the populated crossover market makes it harder for the Murano to stand out from the rest, but it still remains a vehicle worth checking out.
Comparing similarly to what Nissan did with its first model, Nissan is still taking some risks with its bold and stylish design. For 2016, the vehicle is bold and futuristic while its swoopy and sporty lines are highlighted by a floating roof. Lots of discerning features are present too, in comparison with the previous model. The vehicle adds a little space for both its passengers and cargos. Unfortunately, though, the vehicle isn’t as fan to drive as other vehicles in the segment. Others to consider include Jeep Grand Cherokee, the newest Ford Edge, and Lexus RX 350.

Opting for any of the drive system should give you the same EPA ratings as before: 21/28/24 mpg in the city/highway/combined, which is way better than the V6 powered crossover engines.
We haven’t test driven the new Murano yet, but the 2015 model sprinted from standstill to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. With such an acceleration, the vehicle tops the charts for FWD crossover.
